Frank Okada | Paintings Frank Okada Retrospective at the Museum of Northwest Art 10/08/2005 - 01/08/2006 A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest until his untimely death in 2000 at the age of 69, Okada played a significant role in its art history. Born in 1931 to immigrant parents in Seattle's International District, Okada went on to a career as professor of art at the University of Oregon.
